John Boeren

John Boeren studied Constitutional Law and History of Law at Tilburg University. After this law studies he specialized as an archivist at the School for Archivists in The Hague.
Since 1988 he is engaged with genealogy and other forms of historical research. For many years he has been an instructor for genealogy courses. He regularly gives lectures about genealogy. He has published articles in books and magazines. He offers genealogical research services in the Netherlands en Belgium through his own business, called Antecedentia.
He is member of the Association of Professional Genealogists (APG), of the National Genealogical Society (NGS), of the International Society of Family History Writers and Editors (ISFHWE), of the Dutch Central Bureau for Genealogy (CBG), of the Dutch Association for Genealogy (NGV), of the Belgian Familiekunde Vlaanderen (FV) and of some local historical societies.
