Senior Immigration Solicitor

We are currently looking to recruit a senior solicitor (3 years + PQE) for our busy Immigration department. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising a team of three people in addition to dealing with their own caseload of files from start to finish including due diligence/money laundering checks. Duties will also include building/development of their own caseload involving marketing and new client procurement along with keeping up to date with all relevant legislation.

Private Client Solicitor - The ideal candidate should be experienced in most aspects of Private Client work including Wills & Probate, Tax Planning & Trusts and Powers of attorney.

Private Client Solicitor (with Court of Protection experience) - The right candidate for this position will be experienced in most aspects of Court of Protection work including deputyship applications, ongoing deputyship administration and ancillary applications such as trustee orders, interim orders and statutory will applications.

The department has seen exceptional growth of late and we are looking for exceptional solicitors to carry this forward.

Litigation Solicitor - Our highly-rated Property Litigation team is looking for a lawyer with good experience of working on all types of commercial litigation and property litigation matters, including commercial landlord and tenant, enfranchisement, real property, possession proceedings, insolvency and enforcement. Experience in commercial litigation is a prerequisite for this role. We undertake good quality work. The work involved will include the following; mixed case load of property litigation matters, mixed case load of commercial and civil litigation matters, excellent levels of client contact and responsibility, running own caseload and matters where appropriate, assisting the department in dealing with day to day issues, maintaining and developing client relationships, active participation in business development events and activities. This position offers excellent partnership prospects, particularly for candidates with a following.

Litigation Paralegal - with a view to a training contract for September 2017

We are a large, regional practice with a growing reputation for Litigation, both general and niche areas. The position involves assisting the Head of the Litigation Department in a wide range of work, including Contentious Probate and Court of Protection Litigation. Work Experience Placements

We offer quality unpaid work experience placements in blocks of 1 to 3 months in length. Candidates with the right commitment and development may be considered for future permanent positions within the Firm.

We are also able to offer unpaid Sandwich Placements for those students on Law Degrees who require this as part of their course.  We currently work with Brunel University and Bournemouth University, but would be happy to consider applications from students from other universities.  If you are a Placement Officer at an educational establishment needing to place your students with a law firm, please contact our Practice Manager to formalise an arrangement.

We are also able to offer unpaid placements for those candidates who are undertaking their Qualified Lawyers Transfer Test and have a Certificate of Eligibility and are required to have UK work experience under the Qualified Lawyers Transfer Regulations.

Trainee Solicitors and Training Contracts

We offer Training Contracts on a rolling basis. Priority is given to candidates who have worked as a paralegal at the Firm for 1 to 2 years, but we also welcome applications from other candidates who have appropriate knowledge and experience.
